Events going on in the locality during May include a ride on a steam train from Weybourne station on the Poppyline and special events include a Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine and Dad's Army Live. The rhododendrons at Sheringham Park are stunning this time of year and the view from the Gazebo along the coast towards Blakeney and Sheringham is breathtaking. Other events include the Crab and Lobster Festival in Sheringham and Cromer. At the end of May Weybourne hosts the North Norfolk Country Fair.
