OUT & ABOUT AROUND WEYBOURNE

Weybourne, North Norfolk

Seaford is in a fantastic location for enjoying the area around Weybourne and the North Norfolk Coast.

From the house you can hear and see the trains of the North Norfolk Railway - the Poppy Line. Board the train for a journey back in time from Weybourne station to Sheringham and Holt.

Take a short walk to the shingle beach and watch the fishermen take out their boats. Continue on the coastal path and take in the views of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Walk to the National Trust’s Sheringham Park and admire the Rhododendrons in flower.

Visit the Muckleburgh Collection, a military museum sited on the former military camp at Weybourne. Hire a bicycle at Kelling Heath and even take the “Huff and Puff” route.

The area is a favourite with bird watchers and at nearby Cley is the Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s oldest and best known nature reserve.

The Coast Hopper bus runs along the length of the Heritage coast, so exploring the area is easy.

Only three miles away, Sheringham is a traditional seaside town and Holt is a pretty Georgian market town with antique, craft, gift and food shops.

Cromer with a traditional pier and famous for the Cromer crab is well worth a visit.
